Craft cocktails, elevated

You buy the alcohol. We bring the bar, the craft and the hospitality, so you can enjoy your own celebration.

Our story

Two cultures, one table

Clover & Cane began with two people, one vision, and a shared belief that the best memories are created when people come together. As a husband-and-wife team with Irish and Haitian roots woven into our family's story, we grew up understanding the importance of hospitality, celebration and community.

The Clover

The clover stands for our Irish heritage and its deep traditions of gathering, storytelling and fellowship. In Ireland, a good night has always meant a full table, a story that gets better every time it's told, and music that pulls everyone into the room.

It's the spirit of céad míle fáilte, "a hundred thousand welcomes": the belief that no guest should ever feel like a stranger. That warmth is the first thing we bring to every event.

The Cane

The cane honors Haiti's rich history, resilience and vibrant spirit. Sugar cane has been part of the island's story for centuries, and Haiti's people turned a history of struggle into the world's first free Black republic in 1804.

Haitian life has always gathered around the lakou, the shared family yard where neighbors, cousins and friends come together to cook, celebrate and look after one another, often to the rhythm of Kompa. That sense of community is at the heart of what we do.

Together, the clover and the cane represent two backgrounds, two perspectives, and one shared commitment: bringing people together through meaningful experiences.

Questions

Frequently asked

What does "dry-hire" mean?

You purchase the alcohol, and we bring everything else: the bar, bartenders, tools, garnishes and hospitality. It's the standard way mobile bartending works in Massachusetts, and it keeps your costs down because you pay store prices for the liquor.

How do I know what alcohol to buy?

During your free consultation we plan your drink menu together and then send you a custom shopping list sized to your guest count, so there's no guesswork and no waste.

What kinds of events do you work?

Birthdays, graduation parties, engagement parties, baby and bridal showers, holiday gatherings, backyard celebrations, corporate mixers and cultural or community events across Greater Boston. If you're gathering people together, we'd love to hear about it.

How many guests can you serve?

Our packages are built for up to 30, 50 or 75 guests. Planning something bigger? Reach out and we'll talk through staffing for your event.

What's included in every package?

A portable branded bar, your bartender(s), a consultation call with a custom shopping list, basic garnishes, and full setup and breakdown, so you never have to lift a finger.

Can you create a custom cocktail for my event?

Yes! We love designing a signature drink around your theme, colors or story. Mocktails are available too, so every guest has something special in hand.

Can I add lighting, music or photos?

Absolutely. Mood lighting, JBL speakers and mics, event photography, cocktail tables and lounge seating can all be added. We'll put together a custom package and quote during your consultation.

Can you work with a venue or caterer I already have?

Yes. Our services are modular, so we can slot in alongside the vendors you've already booked, whether that's just the bar, just the photos or just the sound.

What do you need from me on the day?

A level spot for the bar, access to a power outlet if you've added lighting or audio, and a place to park and unload nearby. If your venue has its own vendor rules, let us know and we'll plan around them.

Do you serve guests under 21?

No. We check ID and only serve guests 21 and over, and we may refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated, to keep your celebration safe and fun.
